OVERVIEW

First timers in the field of product management, this one is for you. This training is an introduction into Product Management and Business Analysis. There are various entry roles in this field; Associate Product Manager, Product owner, Product Manager, etc. This training will prepare you to take up any of these roles. It is 8 weeks training and after the sessions are complete then you would be placed on a real project as part of a team for 3-4months depending on the project. This way, it is not only what you learn in the classroom but what you do practically that counts towards your experience. This course is designed to help you understand the role of product owners and product managers in agile software development. Become skilled at creating a compelling product vision, grooming the product backlog, planning the release for digital products and collaborating in sprint meetings.

TRAINING REQUISITE

This course is suitable for new product managers/owners with little or no product management knowledge who would like to adopt a more structured approach to product management and to gain practical work experience.

TRAINING FORMAT & SET UP

This training is formatted to see Product Managers (PM) being given a team comprising of a Project managers, Product Owners, BA, PMO, Tester, Developer and a PSO. The PM will strategically create the roadmap for the team over a period of 8weeks in developing the project they have been given using a combination of product management principles and insights. Our CedExp platform will readily make available all the templates used in the project environment for the Product Managers, from Product Vision/Roadmap, Business Case Report, Product/Market Fit Canvas, to Customer Journey Map Report to Stakeholder Map and Product Pricing, Promotion & Distribution etc.

At the end of the training, the PM will be able to demonstrate, principles for new product development, business justification, planning, verification, forecasting, pricing, product launch, and marketing of a product or products at all stages of the product lifecycle using the right methodologies and Framework. The PM will also have had the full end to end delivery experience on a project which will now go into their CV as references for work they have delivered.

We will also ensure that the PM’s CV is well aligned with industry standards.

  • 8 weeks Training with 1hr weekly face to face catch up with Anthony
  • Project Managers, Product Owners, BA’s, Testers, PMO and PSO will be provided
  • Developers will be made up of our in-house staff
